corona kavach google launch new corona app

The government has launched beta version of a Covid-19 tracking mobile application which helps users to check if they have crossed path with patients who tested positive of the Coronavirus.

Features of Corona Kavach app and what aims to do:

i. Alert users if they are near a COVID-19 infected patient

ii. Monitor the status of the community spread of Coronavirus through users' location

iii. Send notifications to users who have been in close contact with anyone tested positive for COVID-19
